Forgive me if this has been discussed before, I searched and couldn't find anything
Can you uninstall the updates that Apple releases?

I don't believe so. (Maybe, but I don't know how.)

Why do you want to anyway?

There are 3 security updates. You installed them all, right?

Also, run SW Update until there are no updates. (Unless you don't install the language updates.)

yup, I installed all 3 patches...still get an authentication error when trying to establish a tunnel. I used the same account with a G3 running 10.1.2 and could login fine. I'm about to install the Security Patches on that system to see if I can replicate the problem.

FYI, I did a tcpdump during my last attempt to connect w/VPN and nothing was sent after entering the first shared secret. I have unistalled the client, tried DSL, alternate dialup #s all to no avail
any help is appreciated

Did you reinstall the VPN client or try checking for a newer version?

I am using two different Cisco clients (5000$3030)
I've tried uninstall/reinstall...didn't work
The same system in OS 9.2.2 worked fine. I really don't want to do a clean install....any other ideas?
TIA

Edit: FYI-Dashiki and ShortElvis are both my screenames

ttt

I "downgraded" the OS to 10.1.3 and the VPN client worked right away. Anyone else using the Cisco VPN client with 10.1.x?
