Could someone who has the nightly build of 18 Oct 2002 of Chimera just to the website nytimes.com and click on the headline'Russia retakes theatre...'. Chimera crashes immediately when I clicked on this headline. I have btried it several times with the same result. I have noticed that for some reason, NY Times causes Chimera (nightly build) to crash most often. I don't seem to have many problems with other websites. Any feedback would be much appreciated. I tried repairing permissions, but Chimera still quitted on me several times. Any suggestions?

The same thing happens to me. I have no idea what the problem is and it has never happened with any other browser.

At least I have a fellow sufferer! Thot I was the only one going nuts! Don't understand why the nightly build of Chimera is so unstable. I read somewhere that it was really good! Shows you can believe everything you read. Still, Chimera is faster than other browsers and worth the test of patience.

Chimera crashes on me all the time at www.caranddriver.com. I like to post in those forums but I have to use IE to do it. images/icons/mad.gif

this was happening to me on the NYT home page as well. as of 2002102604 the problem seems to be gone, thank goodness.

I think that is the whole idea with nightly builds. They are trying to add features and stability while working out the different bugs. I think most recently Chimera has been having trouble with different plug-ins.

I've switched back to explorer until Chimera becomes more stable and usable. Don't get me wrong, I really love Chimera, but it just doesn't work as I need it to currently.
