QUICKEN 2004 MAC HAS AN IMPORTANT BUG. USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN PAYING BILLS AND DOWNLOADING TRANSACTIONS FROM BANK. PAYMENTS ENTERED CORRECTLY WILL APPEAR WITH CORRECT PAYEE BUT WRONG PAY AMOUNT IN THE OUTBOX. PROGRAM IS USING AN OLD REGISTER ITEM AMOUNT WITH YOUR NEW PAYEE. IF YOU DELETE THE NEW PAYMENT FROM THE OUTBOX YOU WILL ACTUALLY BE DELETING AN OLD REGISTER ITEM. DOWNLOADS FROM BANK ARE ALSO SHOWING SIMILAR ERROR.
I CALLED CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND AFTER 45MINS OF EXPLAINING HE CAME BACK ON THE LINE AND SAID HE LEARNED FROM A HIGHER LEVEL SUPPORT AGENT THAT INTUIT IS AWARE OF THE BUG AND PRESENTLY HAS NO FIX.

I'm so glad to see this posting! Interesting that Chat Support is unaware of the existing problem! Sure hope they get it fixed. It only takes one time to learn not to delete from the outbox! But it's a pain to make sure the right transaction is going to be sent! /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
