Quicken Bill Pay; get message "payment too far.."

I'm using Quicken for Mac 2004, MacOS 10.2.8. I have two different online payment files on my computer. One continues to send payments successfully into 2004. The other won't send payments scheduled for January 2004. I get a message that says the payment is too far into the future. I waited for January and tried sending the payment again and I get the same message. My computer date is fine, obviously because the one file has no problem.
I called Checkfree about the problem in December and they had no idea.
Can anyone suggest any fix? Has anyone experienced this?

Checkfree suggested deleting payee and reinstalling it ....... and file works fine.
