Has anyone heard rumors of a new lineup of G5s coming out anytime soon? I already have someone who is gonna buy my G4, but I don't want to sell it until I'm ready to buy the G5. Thanks!

Something is going down January 26. I really hope the updated G5s are here soon, as that is the primary reason for my waiting to upgrade my system...

Just 2 days behind is the release of the Macintosh 125K, they should release the new G5's on Jan 24th. But I also heard the release might be this summer.

All this is just speculation. I hope that they release the new G5's but I am assuming that IBM will make the 90 nm technology announcments before any new processors are anounced. We will see and only hope for the best in this case.

I didn't find anything on the IBM site, but here's the Forbe's article from Dec. 22 that everyone seems to be referencing. If Apple gets chips "by the end of the year", how long will it take to get the production run up to the point where they can fill orders? One month seems pretty minimal.

Well, I hope the G5 upgrades come out this month. I just ordered my Panasonic DVX100A and it would be nice to try it out with this machine.
