Remember text only web browsing. Y'know, just the print no pictures, no ads, no garbage that causes my page to load really slow. Is there any way to utilize this in Safari, IE, or other browser??

links is a text based browser, like lynx (if you've heard of that). It runs in the terminal and is really simple and fast. However, there's little text formatting.

I remember Lynx, but I wonder if he's missing the gopher based searches like Archie?

Some browsers used to have an option not to load photos, but that's gone by the wayside in most browsers of late. I think that's what he was talking about.
