Mine would be Dungeon Siege, Ghost Recon, Giants Citizen Kabotu, Warcraft 3, Wolfenstein, and Red faction. Highly recommended games. Plus, I also recommend downloading Game ranger.

About the Halo demo, not yet. In this article (search for Halo) from Jan-26 they say they've been working on it. I've been periodically checking halo.bungie.org for news. Nothing yet. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Ah, we come to my problem. I actually have Halo for the XBox, love it, I would normally be very excited about the prospect of having more levels, more detailed levels, and especially online play. The trouble is my Mac, an 800Mhz April 2002 TiPB, is at the exact low end of the system requirements. MacSoft has, to put it nicely, not always provided realistic requirements for their games. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif Does anyone happen to know how this game would play on a setup like mine? I don't really mind playing at low res or low detail, but low FPS is a killer. I primarily want the demo to evaluate the performance; if it's good, I'll buy it, and if it's not, I'll wait till I get a G5 PB. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif So, that's why I want the demo.
Oh, and to stay on topic with the original thread: my favorite games which I have played for years have been Marathon (I sort of view Halo as Marathon's successor), Alpha Centauri, and Spaceward Ho! I've been playing the Ho in its various incarnations for about 12 years now... jeez, and I still suck at it. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If it meets the min. requirements then I'd go for it. You can tweak the settings down to meet your system requirements. It actually runs better on my 12" Rev B Powerbook G4 then my DP 1 Ghz PM tower. Both have the same RAM, but the PB graphics chip is more compatible with Halo at this time. Go figure?
