Hey, question for you guys that has got me stumped! Something about Junk in Mail for Panther (got the latest patch) is just not working as it should be. Mail works fine, but as soon as I try to do anything that involves the status of Junk mail (such as setting it to Not Junk, or setting a normal message to Junk) will crash Mail. Trying to drag a message from the junk folder to my inbox or vice versa will also crash. About the only thing I can do is copy and paste messages between the boxes. Whether I click on the Junk button on the toolbar, or right-click and Mark As -> Junk, it crashes. Seeing as I get ridiculous amounts of junk mail, and Mail isn't perfect at filtering, the ability to fiddle with it is pretty crucial. I've tried repairing permissions and that didn't work, and I've also tried removing the preference settings from library and starting a new Mail profile and that hasn't worked. My hardware is a 667TiBook, does anyone have any idea what the heck is going on??! /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Had a look around the Apple forums, and came across this :

For anyone else having the problem, resetting the junk filter appears to work for some people (has done for me /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif)
