I was using Openoffice.org without issue on Jaguar. I had no idea what X11 was, I just know it started when I ran Openoffice.org. I upgraded to 10.3 using archive and install. It was almost too simple. Everything is working perfectly except openoffice.org. For some reason X11 opens, then shuts down immediately. Is there something wrong? Do I need to update x11? I reinstalled from disc 3 that came with Panther....I am lost as to what could be wrong...

Did you install the X11 SDK package that came with Panther (it's on disk 3 as well)? You'll need that for openoffice to work with Apple's X11. Also, make sure you are using openoffice 1.1.0 (or higher, if there's been a further upgrade ?).

With Panther I installed Disk 3. My understanding was X11 SDK was included with that install...Is that not correct? Can anyone verify?
