what happened to pctomac.com?

Well, a search for pctomac revealed this among other information. Apparently PCtoMac's hosting service had a system failure and lost all data, the admin of pctomac had never made a backup on their own computers, said "screw it," pointed everyone to MacMentor instead, and that was that. This absorption apparently happened December 22 2003.

interesting. they had a pretty good site there, lots of traffic.

I read this again... the hosting company had no backups? lost all their data? Jeesh.... how could that happen? backups would be critical for a hosting company to operate. /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

The hosting company may have not been very experienced or may have been very low cost.
