As is the case with so many of us iPhoto users, I now have >1000 pictures, and things are getting unmanagable. I can certainly copy/archive some photos onto a CD or DVD, but I'd really like to select certain photos and place them in a second Library. It's easy enough to start a new Library on a certain date, but I'd rather choose the photos. Is there a simple way to do this? Maybe I'm having a brain cramp, but I can't figure it out, unless it involves setting up the new Library and then getting into the individual photo files and trying to find and drag them. The way iPhoto catalogues the pictures, that'd be a major hassle.

Ah, I should have made it clear that I have iPhoto 4. It does permit multiple libraries, but from what I can determine, they're done primarily on a date basis; i.e. all pix after X date go into a new Library. I'd like to go through and select photos here and there and put them in a separate, new library.
