Using purchased song from iTunes in iMovie

I have purchased music from iTunes, and would like to use it as background music for iMovie. I have not upgraded to iLife4. In doing so, will that allow me to use the music?

I am able to use purchased music in iMovie '04 with no problem. I never tried with iMovie 3, so don't know if that's possible.
To answer your question: Yes, you will be able to use your purchased music in iMovie if you upgrade to iLife '04.
