Questions about hardware

Ok,
I am soon going into the movie making buisness and recquire a new DV camera. Of course I have a Mac running Jaguar and appropriate software for this venture. I have been looking to the Sony DCR TRV33 for two reasons: affordability and memory stick media. The camera I get needs to have stop motion capabilities, be reasonably priced ($0- 800 or 900), and have some renewable media. I'm not sure that memory stick is the best, just what I am familiar with.
My question is what DV camera do I get?

P.S. If anyone has a copy of Pro Cut 4 they're not using... Cheap...
