i ordered the trial version of QB6, but haven't received it. in the meantime, i realized that i have a version of QB on my PowerBook, called New User. i want to upgrade to 6.1 for the added features, but i can't figure out the best way to do it.
i read somewhere that you can "unlock" the features right in QB, and just pay through that app. also, i'm trying to determine which way is the cheapest to do...from new user or from the trial version.
i've seen an upgrade price on amazon of $120.

If your Mac has New User on it, that qualifies as an existing QB copy so that you can get the "upgrader" price when you purchase QB 6.0.
You can't unlock the full app from the Mac Trial. That's a feature on QB for Windows.
