I am thinking of hosting a Halo game at some point here in the next few weeks -- just for Macworld forum folks (and me!) to play against one another.
Is anyone interested?

Depending on the time and day of the week, I'd probably drop in for a bit.

I would prob join in for awhile, as long as it was a good game. (cable or DSL only maybe?)

I'll have to reinstall it -- I deleted it about a month ago to make room for other stuff I had to review -- so just give me a heads up so I can make more space. But it sounds like fun.
Hey, Jason -- do we have any spare LaCie Big Disks lying around the office? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I hosted games all the time before upgraded because now there are 100s of them to choose from. The newer version is compatible with PC users. I always asked if there was any lag (I have a DP MD G4 1Ghz / Comcast Cable set up) and no one said there was. So when you get it set up password protect it and annouce the game time on here. I'm in....

Sounds like fun! I'd be interested (time permitting, of course).
Wow, first-person-shooting with the editors of Macworld & MacCentral. Ain't the internet grand? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I was thinking maybe this weekend sometime, or maybe Friday afternoon PST. I will post details here when I know 'em.

Okay, here's the deal.
I'll set it up tomorrow (4/4) at 7 pm Pacific time. Hopefully someone will show up. If not, we'll set one up for next weekend.
Drop a note to jsnell@macworld.com and I'll send you the server name and password.

Okay, the game is over. Thanks to Argent...
Anyway, we will do this again, maybe next weekend. I'll try to give you all fair warning this time!
What time is good for everyone next weekend?

Either early morning (before noon Pacific time) or after 8pm Pacific -- weekend days I usually reserve for writing for some prestigious publication /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Bah, sorry I missed it.
Any time after the kidlets are tucked in -- usually around 8PM ET -- is great for me.
