The strangest thing: When I burn a portion (let's say 1 hour) of "Enders game" to a CD in iTunes 4.2, I have 9 tracks on the CD, all about 7 minutes. Very convenient when the CD player doesn't 'remember' where you were in the book.
But when I burn "The DaVinci Code" or "Your Mac Life" it only creates 1 track, so I have to push forward for ages when I change CD players.
Does anyone know how this works?

What does Davinci code look like on the original disc? This just sounds strange. Never had a CD not keep its tracks....

Does DaVinci code have tracks on the original CD? I suppose it does.

Audible has to mark the chapters in order for iTunes to know where to start new tracks. It seems they do a better job on some books than others, while not bothering with it in some titles, like YML, at all. I don't think there is an easy way of burning them into smaller tracks.
May I suggest getting an iPod? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Seriously, CDs are so 90s! /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

That's what I thought, but I asked Audible 2 times and they say it's impossibe that some of the books 'create' tracks when you burn them. And I also think they put it in the files, but the customer department just doesn't know.
I also like an iPod, but the car already has a CD player.
