I've recently begun using QB 6 Pro for Mac. The previous Windows software I used allowed me to specify the rate for a service item by client, either as a fixed fee or a discount percentage. For example, I would like to have an item listed with a price of $100. I want to charge client A the full $100, but give client B a 10% discount, or possibly just a set fee of $78.50.
The only way I can see to do this is to have 2 different items, one assigned to each client. Or obviously override the amount on the invoice. This will soon become unmanageable though.
Tell me it isn't so! Any ideas?
