ibook memory

Does anyone have any idea what a G3 ibook with 128mb or ram can handle? i purchased a 512mb card but it doesn't seem to be working? is it the card or is it the book???

Whats wrong with a 500 G3? I just bought a G3 800...
In anycase they take the same memory which is a SoDimm Pc133 (SDRam). If this is what you got then it should work if not return it.

If you mean the 500MHz white iBook, then it definitely takes a 512 stick. I installed one in mine over 2 years ago.
It sounds like the RAM.
