Appleworks 6 mailing label problems

I am disabled and tried to help a friend of mine by putting up a list of names and addresses in an appleworks 6 database. I have other items in each record beyond name and address. Try as might, I can not successfully generate mailing labels, nor do I know how to export a file that I can send to his PC so he can make use of it in microsoft word.
I not so skills in this software, but I would very sad to tell my friend that after all this work, 1803 names and address are not available to him. Please help me if you can.

Hi Gaston - I would be happy to convert the file(s) to a Microsoft 97/2000/XP/2003 Win (dBase IV database) or something else, if you want.
