Is there a way to sort bookmarks alfabetically in Safari? Alternatively, is there a way to export them to Explorer so that I can sort them there?

I found that the best way to use your bookmarks across different browesrs is to use Bookit.

Thanks to both of you for your excellent links. In addition to the usefulness of both solutions, I particularly liked the comments from SafariSorter's author: "Computers are able to organize things for you. For example, you can throw files into a folder and the Macintosh Finder will display them in alphabetical order. But someone lost the recipe when web browsers were developed, and today most web browsers, Safari included, do no automatic sorting of bookmarks."
Indeed, we like to believe that the world is moving forward, but often wonder why computer programs sometimes seem to be moving backwards. Why for instance, didn't Apple/Safari just copy the excellent Scrapbook feature in Explorer that allows you to save web pages (not just web adresses)!
In the old days, Word could calculate numbers - just punch in the figures and click calculate. Very nifty. And macro recording was part of the Mac system and worked in all programs...
