missing glyphs

I am using InDesign CS to make some invitations. When trying to print on my HP Color LaserJet 2500n, some of the glyphs that I use (a star dingbat) doesn't print. I thought that I mistakenly placed the wrong dingbat in, but I didn't. The same invite prints out fine on my HP DeskJet 450. Any ideas? Seems like something dealing with the 2500n's print drivers?

a workaround is to make your glyph an illustrator outline & insert it that way. Eliminates font/printer issues.
