can I delete these two files?

two files appeared recently in my hard drive window called:
gmon.out
botlib.log
what are they? can I toss them?

gmon.out, AFAIK, is generated by gcc when compiling code to make an executable file, if specific compile options are used. It's just a file for monitoring compilation problems and is not essential to any system or program function.
botlib.log - I'm not really sure about this one. The only time I think I've ever seen a file like that was when a Quack III server would crash /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif I seem to remember it was basically a crash log of the game server bot.
