Well, as I posted earlier, I'm probably going to buy a new powerbook soon, probably as early as Monday when I go to NYC, so I'll stop in at the SoHo store. My question is this: The instant loan thing is 90 days same as cash when the purchase is made BEFORE June 28. June 28 is also the start of WWDC. Is this a coincidence? I highly doubt it. So what is expected to be coming out of wwdc? I dont want to buy a brand new computer to have it not be top of the line in one weeks time. Also, the macworld expo is only a few weeks after that. Do things get unveiled there? I dont really follow conferences and expos and such, though maybe I should. What kind of stuff is expected to come out at us in these next few weeks? I know the preview of tiger is coming, but is it being released or is it just a preview?

You're asking an unanswerable question. Apple doesn't release anything before hand. I have a colleague who will be at the WWDC in SanFran (and he's been to these before), and in all the info releases (to registered members), there is no hint of new hardware. Apple won't say until the moment of the official announcement.
I think the only rumor that one can expect to come true is that OS X 10.4 will be heavily prevued at the upcoming WWDC. Other than that, it is just rumors.
Obviously, if you can wait, do so, so you can take advantage of any new hardware that comes along. Otherwise, bite the bullet, and go ahead. It's up to you.

Look for new imacs at the WWDC. There won't likely be any new Powerbooks announced as they were just refreshed at the end of April.
