Every time I try to start up Sound Studio, it instantly quits with the message: "The application Sound Studio has unexpectedly quit". It used to work fine, but started doing this all of a sudden. It doesn't work in other accounts either, and I've repaired permissions. Any ideas?

Check your version. The current one is Sound Studio 2.1.1b3. I haven't used it for several months. But after reading your post, I verified that it does launch ok with OS 10.3.4.
First try Disk Utility's Repair Permissions. If that doesn't do it, trashing preferences might. If nothing else works, re-install.
Respectfully, Norm

look in Users > (your user) > Library > Preferences for any .plist file that has something in the name like "sound studio" or the name of the company that makes sound studio. move it to the desktop and try launching the program again. if all is well, trash the .plist. since you say this happens with other users, you should also look in the root level Library > Preferences folder for the same kind of file.
corrupted .plist (preferences) files have often been the culprit when i've had trouble with unexpected quits.

See if theres a similar one in Library>Preferences and do the same. Aftre trashing prefs, you need to log out and back in before they can be recreated afresh.
The alternative if that doesn't work, is simply to reinstall SS, or remove al traces of it with it's Uninstaller (if it has one), then install once again.
