Mail 1.3.8

I have recently just started using Mail 1.3.8 on Panther (10.3.4). My question is how do I get this mail to filter, redirect my incomming mail to other mailboxes. I have around 200 mailboxes and recieve between 300 & 500 pieces of mail a day. I do not wish all of the email to land in my inbox. ie: mail recieved from freebsd-stable list serve I want to go to folder: FreeBSD/ mailbox: Stable the same with current etc. How can I accomplish this?

Mail -> Mail menu -> Preferences -> Rules
Once there, you can make all the rules you want.
