Hi Guys/Gals
I'm a switcher and in 3 weeks time I will have a shiny, new Powermac G5!
Can anybody recommend some software which will allow me to synch my Mac data (contacts, tasks, mail etc) with my HP Ipaq 2215 running Pocket PC 2003?
I've read somewhere about an app called "Pocket Mac" and also something called "the missing synch"
Although I eventually aim to purchase MS Office 2004 Pro for Mac, at this stage I will be relying on the in-built apps of OS X but I will need to be able to synch with my Ipaq
I would also like to be able to synch files (mp3's & jpegs) if possible
Thanks in advance

PocketMac is a pricey but for now adequate syncing solution while you await the release of Office 2004 Pro and VPC 7. Link is a brief discussion of Pocketmac with a link to the vendor. Be sure to read the vendor's disclaimers about what PocketMac cannot do. I personally won't tolerate its shortcomings compared to running VPC 6 and Office for Windows and Activesync on my G4.
When you finally get VPC 7 running on that new G5, Link may offer useful advice.

Presently I am using Pocket Mac. You can sync the mp3 files. I believe that you also mentioned some jpg files? Hopefully this will answer your question. I sync with bluetooth to a G4 mac 15" laptop and a HP 5500. Often I have had to move files from my PC to my PPC. You can do this by using the browse feature in desktop software to open a folder on the PPC and transfer files like you move files on the Mac. I use my PPC to fill in for larger files that won't fit on my USB fob disk. I would encourage you to read the manual on the Pocket Mac sync program before purchasing to insure that your needs will be answered by this software.
