Anyone tried Engineered Audio's RemoteRemote 2 for

I wanted some flexability for my Gen 3 iPod and was looking at the RemoteRemote that Engineered Audio offers. The older design I didn't care for and then they introduced the RemoteRemote 2. Looks a lot like the iTrip. I was going to jump on this now that they just started shipping.
Has anyone had any experience with the RemoteRemote or the RemoteRemote 2???
