Getting windows to stay on top

Does anyone know how to make a program stay on top of all other programs even though they have switched to another program? I would like to do this for Audion but I do not see where I would be able to allow it to do this. It would make everything alot eaiser if I could get it to remain on top insetd of having to bring it up from behind of other working programs.
