my iPod won;t update. I am given this message when trying to update "iPod can not update because one or more iTunes playlist selected to update no longer exsist" i need some help please /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Well, unless there's stuff on your iPod you can't restore from your computer, try a restore instead of an update. You'll have to do a full resync, but with Firewire, that really doesn't take all that long.

Unless you changed the default iPod settings, iTunes automatically syncs your entire library onto the iPod. It does this, correct?

yes it does do that. where do i go from there

Ok, well, then all you need to do is use the "Restore" button in the iPod updater instead of the "Update" button.
That should wipe the iPod clean. You simply let it sync again once done (it will act as if this is your first time using the iPod).

It should be in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder.
You can do that or simply download it from here to make sure you're using the latest one.
