Airport Express and LaserJet 4mo

I want to use a LaserJet 4mp with an Airport Express. This is a printer with the old 8 pin serial connection. I have a Keyspan 28x serial to USB adapter. The latest software from HP and Keyspan has been installed. When I try to add this printer using Rendevous it doesn't show up. Any thoughts on how to make this connection happen?

I don't have this printer...
I could be wrong, but I don't think the printer uses Serial, but rather, Localtalk. Does your adapter & driver say anything about localtalk capability?
