I am trying to make a cd of mp3 audio files. What I have is 62 cds of The Bible and I want to reduce the number of cds to make it easier for storage and keep the originals in good shape.
I was reading the iLife for Dummies book (you may pause for laughter, but I do read books!) and made sure to import the files properly as MP3s. After importing I put them into a playlist, I wanted to keep them in order so I could later match them with the correct Book, Chapter and Verse.
My way of naming them was:
Track 01-1 (for cd 1)
Track 01-2 (for cd 2)
and so on
after each cd imported, I put it in a folder named 1, 2, 3 and so on
then I placed the folders for each cd into one folder named Bible
when I put them into iTunes, a few of them changed their names! So I had to make sure I had read/write permissions, changed their names (again) and locked the folder.
This worked fine until cd #7 which refuses to let me change the names of the tracks.
Since this is the Bible, naturally I want the tracks in proper order.
What am I doing wrong? /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I really want to get this done and not go crazy.
Any ideas?
Thanks, as always.........
