I signed up for Yahoo Mail Plus with POP forwarding and have configured my Mail account to check for the Yahoo mail. I can receive Yahoo messages from the Mail account but cannot send them. Has anyone else had this problem? Any solutions?

I found instructions at Yahoo's site on how to set up the SMTP server you must use. While these instructions are for Outlook for Windows, they have the necessary information to get you configured.
You have to set up a new SMTP (outgoing mail) account.
Server: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
username: everything before the @yahoo.com
password: your password
Check the box (if there is one, I can't check right now) that says your outgoing server requires authentication.
Set this as the outgoing for your Yahoo account. Now it should work.

Does anyone know how to use the 'Archive' feature in Yahoo Mail Plus in conjunction with Apple Mail..?
I want to just export the messages from one folder to my desktop, then just drag them into Apple Mail and store them there...
I've googled my brains out on this one with no luck...

What format does the archiving output to? Does it yield a file or am I misunderstanding?
