Hello. This is my first post on this forum. I have a G3 ibook and a G4 imac at home and a PC (windows 98) at work. I brought home a CD-R from work that another company prepared. The CD contains about 50 pdf files under three folders. On both macs, the names of all three folders are present but only two of them have the folder symbol. If you click on the folder name without the symbol, the name disappears. On the other two folders, on one folder I am able to open all files. On the other, all files are listed, but the pdf symbol appears on only about 25% of the files. These open up fine. The others, when you click on them, they also disappear. The files that I can't access don't have a file size while the others do.
When I open the CD on the PC, all files open and all folders are accessable. Does anybody know what would cause this? I am concerned about this because I am seriously looking at replacing all our PCs at work with macs. Other CDs don't have this problem. Any help would be appreciated
(By the way, as i start developing our computing plan at work, I may ask for additional help).
Thank you
Doug
