Almost every time that I quit Quicken 2005, it crashes during the quit process. Does anyone alse see this? Any suggestions?
This is on a B&W G3/450 MHz, 512 MB RAM. MacOS X 10.3.5. Boot volume and Quicken are on one partition of a 160 GB SATA drive, and home directory is on a separate partition of the same SATA drive. SATA drive is attached to a Firmtek adapter.

Have you tried repairing permissions both prior to and after loading the program?
- Open the Finder in your dock.
- Then go to Applications>Utilities>Disk Utility.
- Open Disk Utility by double-clicking on the hard disk image with the stethiscope.
- Select Macintosh HD on upper left. Make sure "First Aid" is selected on top center.
- Select "Repair Disk Permissions" on lower left.
- Wait - it takes several minutes to complete.

Thanks for the update. It's helpful, by the way, if you're using Mac OS X to send the crash log to Apple. That helps both companies understand what is occuring.
Are you a longtime Quicken user - by that, I mean, do you have years of transaction history in your data file? Do you leave Quicken open on your Mac, or launch it only when needed?

I send many crash logs to Apple. I have used Quicken for 8 or 10 years. I have 2 or 3 years of data in my Quicken file. The last time I cleaned out old data was about 2 years ago. I am reluctant to do this because the last attempt resulted in accounts that did not reconcile properly.
