In Indesign 3, to nestle any elements inside of an existing object, you apparently need to use the "paste into" command. The problem I keep running into is that if you try to paste new data into an object using "paste into", anything that was already in there is erased. Is there any way around this? You have to be able to nestle multiple items within an object to do any effective designing in Indesign.

You already got answers in your earlier post on this subject: You can't have more than one item in there, but a group counts as one item. To add more, you have to cut and paste out what's in there, add the new items, group everything you want in there, then paste the one group back in.

Oh, heh - I completely forgot about that first post after I made it; didn't even think to scan down the page, as I had on memory of having ever asked this question. Anyway - thank you.
