I bought Virtual PC 7 to run on my PowerMac Dual G5 1.8GHz with 1.25Gb of RAM. In one simple app I'm using on the VPC I need to ad a short mpeg song to a Macromedia Flash show. The music always lags and skips on the VPC. It dosn't have to be high quality at all, I tryed converting it to a 16kpbs mpeg but it still skipped. Do you know anything that can help?

I don't know of any mpeg quality slower than 16kbps (mpeg 2/mono).
Have you tried maxing the RAM you're allocating to VPC/Windows? (VPC window->Settings->PC Memory) Are all other applications not running except VPC, Windows and the player? Do you have the latest Windows Updates?
My old Dell laptop used to develop an audio lag when playing a DVD movie. I don't know if it was the slow CPU or the amount of RAM, but I got rid of the problem only with a newer, faster laptop.
