I recently upgraded to a G5 and I'm trying to export my Quicken 2001 data to a QIF file for 2005. Everytime I export the data I receive the following message just before it finishes: If a security has no symbol associated with it, its price history is not exported. This might impact the reported market value of your securities when you import.
I've checked all of the securities including the hidden securities several times can't find one that doesn't have a symbol. Has anyone else had this problem? If so what can I expect?

where are you going to take the exported data? if you're converting from Quicken 2001 to a more recent Quicken for Mac version, there's no need to export, the application will automatically convert your data to the new version....
the message you mention is a general warning, don't think it's specific to your personal datafile. are you experiencing any difficulties after you export?
