mpio & iTunes 4.7

Does anyone know if mpio's FL100 mp3 player even works in iTunes. I have a Dual 1.8 G5 running OS X 10.3.5 and iTunes 4.7 with the mpio iTunes plug-in v 5.1 and still it doesn't seem that iTunes recognizes the player. Anyone have any luck with this or any other mp3 player brands other than the iPod?
