Has anyone experienced an improvement in Font quality in Safari after installing Office 2004?
After installing 2004, the newspaper and forum webpages' fonts look much more cleaner and crisper. I guess it is an unexpected benefit.

Something definitely changed. During installation I noticed Office 2004 was dumping a new load of fonts in the system. I rolled my eyes...what's it doing now? They probably updated some of the Web fonts used by everyone. Unfortunately, Word and Excel look like they are now "printed" with "heavier ink," which I think is harder on my eyes than Office X was, and the Excel letter spacing is tighther than it was.

I don't know what you mean by "heavier ink" but to my eyes, there is no difference between Office X and Office 2004. I like that I do not have to check print preview to see how it will be printed up in Excel 2004. Letter spacing does appear tighter.
