Ive had Office 2004 Standard for a couple months now, but up to now I havent given much thought to using Entourage. Mail.app has been more than sufficient. My feeling is that with the money I spent on Office I should at least give Entourage a try.
For the moment, I just want to test drive Entourage to see how I like it. Before I do, Ive got a few questions.
1)Is it possible to transfer my messages from Mail.app to Entourage?
2)Is it possible to transfer my contacts in Address Book to Entourage?
3)If I decide I dont like Entourage, is it possible to transfer my messages back into Mail.app and my contacts back into Address Book?
Thanks any help you can give.

I installed Entourage. I played with it and noticed it has an import feature. I was able to import my Mail.app messages. I checked Mail.app and noticed it also has an import feature. So I just answered my question 1) and part of my question 3).
However, I still have the question of importing contacts from address book to Entourage.

You have to manually drag your contacts one by one from adress book to your desktop to create v-cards and then drag them one by one to encourage adress book.

Considering that I have a few contacts, this method sounds great. Thanks.

Select all your contacts in Address Book then drag them to the desk top. This will give you a single vCard file. Drag that into the address book window in Entourage and all your contacts will be imported in one go.
