Importing Uncompressed HD File Has No Sound

I posted problems with working with an HD file before...
Now I'm able to play the HD file on Quicktime fine. However, when I try to edit it on Final Cut HD, only the video is available, meaning when I transfer it onto the editing timeline, ONLY the video shows, rather than the video and the audio appearing. Is this due to the limitations of the G4 Powerbook hardware?
