I have used Yahoo mail with my iMac for years. Just this week, it will sudenly no longer allow me to SEND messages, or to REPLY. The only thing new is that Yahoo announced I now have 250MB of online storage, up from the old 100MB. I use OS X 10.3.6 on a 600MHz iMac. Any ideas on trouble-shooting this? Thanks....

Are you using the web interface or accessing it through some external application?
What do you mean when you say it won't allow you to send?

I'm using the web interface. The mail functions all work normally (receive, read, delete, etc.) except that, starting last week, when I attempt to reply to a message, and hit the send button, nothing happens....no error code, it just won't send. And, if I go to Compose, to create a new message, the blank email template comes on screen, but I cannot enter text, or addresses, or anything. BTW, my wife also uses a separate Yahoo mail account on this computer, and is experienceing the exact same problems. Thanks.....

Ok, which web browser are you using? Does the same thing happen with other web browsers?

I went through this with my PC machine a year or so ago. Contact your ISP - they are probably not allowing the smtp.yahoo.mail connection for outgoing mail - just change your account settings to use your ISP's smtp info. That fixed the problem for me then and is how I had to set-up my new G5 just a couple of days ago.

That might be the problem, except he said:

So that is not an issue. This is a browser problem.
