Wichita, Kan.-based QuickerTek on Monday introduced iBook carry handles. When installed, the devices enable 12- and 14-inch iBooks to be carried without needing an external carrying case. Made of aluminum, the handles are fitted for either 12-inch or 14-inch iBooks, and double as a lift stand when the iBook is being used, which QuickerTek claims helps circulate air and improve cooling beneath the iBook, and provide users with a more optimal typing angle. The new handles are expected to be available in January 2005 for US$50. more

Can anybody scope out exactly how these are attached to the iBook? I would be skeptical of any handle applied solely with adhesive, but I can't imagine any other "easily-installed-by-the-user" design.
