Hi MacTribe, I'm contemplating an iPod for Christmas, but I'm convinced the iPod Photo is not quite ready for prime time, at least for my budget and my needs.
Will any/all the other iPods allow me to "dump" raw images in from my camera when I'm on the road. I can use a handy storage device.
(After all its other qualities, iPod Photo will allow dumping but not next-minute showing. I figure if I'm only getting storage, I'm better off paying less for regular, more audio-powerful iPod.)
QUESTION #2: Can someone name a product that will let me record Radio, then load it into an iPod?
Thanks all,
YOU ARE GIANTS!

1. Yes, all current iPods other than mini will allow you to import images with a compatible reader (which is currently either the Belkin Media Reader or Belkin Camera Reader).
2. Griffin's radioSHARK will let you record local radio in a TiVo kind of way. If you're interested in recording Internet radio streams, check out Radio Daze, an article I wrote for Playlistmag.com that looks at the various options for recording streams on the Mac and PC.
