Software MacKiev on Friday released a free set of 48 Christmas- and New Year-themed templates for use with the developer's Print Shop software. The collection includes CD labels, greeting cards, postcards, online greetings and calendars decorated with a variety of images that range from traditional to the Mac-themed "Here's to the new cat in 2005," which adorns a photo of a tiger. The Print Shop is a US$49.95 application that comes with more than 6,000 templates for creating not only the types of print-outs found in the holiday collection but also VHS tape labels, banners, fax cover pages, pamphlets, newsletters and more. It can export and import projects in a variety of formats and supports 60 Avery label types. Mac OS X v10.1.5, a G3 350MHz processor, 192MB RAM (256MB recommended) and 150MB free hard drive space are required. more
