Background picture while viewing folder contents

I just found this option the other day, and just now realized...the pictures don't extend for the entire length of the window. I guess it isn't a huge deal, but other than editing the picture somehow, is there a way to get it to stretch to fill the entire window without altering the picture itself?

You picture will be resized if it doesn't have the same width and height of your desktop resolution. That means that if you try to set up a 640x480 pic in a 1024 x 768 pic it WILL be stretched and it WILL look jagged ( or pixelated).
