Moving HD from Beige to BW

Hello,
I have a BW G3 300 pretty much stock. I picked up a new, unopened version of 10.3 from Other World Computing....its a 2 DVD didk set for the Power Books but is a universal install set.
The problem is that that I have purchased a CDRW / DVD combo drive but it is not a bootable drive for the BW but it is for a Beige.....so I took the HD that I am going to use in the BW and hooked it up to my good ole' Beige and used XPOST to install 10.3 on that drive. I then took the HD out and put it back in the BW and started it up. It took a while to start up the first time but I have installed all the updates and it starts up fine.
Is my version of 10.3 going to be compomised because I installed it on a Beige HD then switched or does the sotware updates fix this...it currently is 10.3.7
It seems to be operating fine now.
