I just installed an admin version on my Powerbook G3 and installed a client version on my G3 imac. Both run airport and OS 10.2.8
My trouble begins when I am both configuring the preferences on both computers. In the preference pane for Remote Desktop on my laptop (admin) I turn on the "Make Remote Desktop Active" but then the application will not load. When I leave it off, the application will load and see the other computer but is not be able to access it At the same time, I cannot seem to get the client computer to recognize the laptop as the admin. Is there something wrong with my copy or am i not turning on the right options in the preferences
If someone is able to maybe give a step by step direction on how to set up both computers after the installation, it would be greatly appreciated.
