My kids have discovered Star Wars Episode 1, and when I told them about the Pod Racer game that was out for the Mac, they just had to have it.
Problem is, I can't find it anywhere!?!?!
Does anyone know of a source for Star Wars Episode 1: Racer game??
I searched on eBay, but can only find the console versions.
Thanks for any help.

Tried Amazon, not stocked any longer.
I did DL the demo.....I guess that will have to hold them.
Yes, I did see the patch...Dld that too, just in case.
I didn't try the fansite, but will.
Thanks for all the links!!! /forums/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm surprised.
I thought us Mac people were pretty damn resourceful, having avoided direct contact with the evil MS empire for so long, but I'm surprised no one can find this game (me included!)
With all of you gamers out there NO ONE knows where I can find a copy of this game??!!
Hey...thanks...really do appreciate the time.

well it seems this is a game that really has been taken of the market. You can get hold of most old games for the Mac but this one has ceased to be, expired, vanished from the retailers. Strange, not even included in a bundle...
I can still buy the PC version but the Mac is gone. Your only hope seems to be if somebody want to give up their copy

You know, that is what I was thinking!
It's rather amazing. In my 20+ year history of acquiring Apple "stuff" this program has been about the most difficult, I can remember, trying to locate.
It really has vanished because I can't even find it in a bundle or anything?

Rich:
I'd recommend searching eBay over the next few weeks. Things seem to pop up on their site every once in a while with old Mac games. I had a similar situation to yours where I wanted that old Mac game, Titanic that was put out by Cyberflix back in 1996 or 1997. I kept searching on eBay and finally it showed up. I guess patience is the key.

Good advice, I appreciate it.
It's very good to continue see Mac users making solid, thoughtful suggestions, which has always been the hallmark of being in the Mac community.
If you get my hint.
Will do as you suggest.
Thanks
