Yea, I like DragThing too... but it's already listed in Macworld. I think they're trying to come up with a new list.

I really like and find useful enough to have paid for them:

- WeatherPop
- Entourage Import/Export
- NetNewsWire Lite
- Carbon Copy Cloner
- Tinkertool

I'm certain there's more but these are what come to mind immediately. OS X has been a boon to open source and shareware/freeware development. I recently discovered Webmin, a stunningly easy and efficient web-based GUI for administering many of the functions built into Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server. Webmin is amazing!

Great thread!

Addressix....I use this so much to print envelopes even tho I have Office X.

MacJanitor

isaBook...a little address book easily accessed

DropDrawers......I like this one much more than DragThing. Drawers fit into the sides of your desktop & slide out as needed.

Using CharlesVan's tip, I just downloaded iPhoto Diet & am going to love it! Thanks.

So many good sharewares & freewares coming out...these threads are very useful as sometimes I miss seeing a new one when it appears.

We sometimes miss them too, which is why we like to hear from all of you about what's out there.

I used (and paid for images/icons/smile.gif ) ChronoSync from Econ technologies and was pretty impressed.

It flawlessly synchronized files between my iBook and G4, regardless of which machine had a newer version. It previews the transfer before it happens so you can exclude/include files, and keeps verbose logging (should you need it).

Great interface, very OS X-like and well worth the $20.

Hmmm . . . some small stuff I use often:

blank>Meteorologist - weather info in the menu bar

blank>TuneCam-O-Mat - uploads the song I'm listening to on iTunes to my website

blank>iPhoto Librarian - Wonderful little applescript to change iPhoto Libraries

blank>Mac Tablet - The best replacement for OS 9's Notepad that's out there

blank>Cycles - Isn't it nice to see how stressed your computer is?

Oh, and How could I forget blank>Adium? The best AIM messenger with tabs and all (and no ads)

Chock up another vote for blank>Chimera

blank>Blobber is nice to get rid of the spinning pinwheel in 10.2, but I would much rather get rid of the stupid mouse shadow. Does anyone know how to do that?

That's all I can think of for now

CharlesVan.... ok

http://www.nonamescriptware.com/

...a good collection of applescripts. I especially like Trash It! for those times you can't seem to delete something.
